HONOLULU — The Laylow, Autograph Collection in collaboration with International Market Place, are giving guests a rare opportunity to enjoy The Green’s hit reggae jams from the comfort of their guest room balconies.

On May 20 and 21 from 7 to 9 p.m., The Green will perform on the rooftop of International Market Place’s parking garage. The Laylow has rooms reserved that directly overlook the rooftop, which is in compliance with local and CDC guidelines.

“We’re proud to give our guests a chance to experience an outdoor concert that’s safe and really unlike anything else offered during the pandemic,” said Robert Friedl, general manager of The Laylow. “We are honored to reunite fans with one of Hawaii’s most beloved local reggae groups.”

The 2-night concert supports the launch of The Green’s sixth studio album, Brand New Eyes. This is The Green’s first live performance after a year-long hiatus due to the pandemic.

The concert is a part of The Laylow’s ongoing effort to support Hawaii’s musicians. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Hideout, was one of the few venues offering live music during the pandemic. It continues to offer nightly live music featuring local up-and-coming and award-winning artists and DJs.

To view the concert, guests can book their room and ticket on Eventbrite or thegreen808.com. Guests cannot book directly through The Laylow. All sales are final.

The Laylow is committed to keeping guests and employees safe by following Marriott’s “Commitment to Clean” protocols to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The property requires all guests and staff to wear face coverings and maintain safe social distancing. To learn more, visit: https://clean.marriott.com
